We all, as a part of an elite league of institutes, aspire to work at the frontiers of human knowledge, innovate technology, initiate revolutions in science and propel national development to new heights. But often in such a competitive environment, work is stressed to the point of mania and this is when comes in the need of recreation. Rediscover your hobbies and explore new ones with Clubs at IIT Bhilai. Mind you there is absolutely no bound on anyone’s interest which also means that there is no bound on how many clubs you can be in – it is all up to you. About: DSC is a university program kick started by Google Developers to train thousands of student developers globally and to work with their communities to solve real-life problems. DSC, IIT Bhilai was set-up primarily to ensure that we can bridge the divide between a student’s eagerness to learn and the technology evolving every day. The DSC program is a grass root channel through which the members of the community provide development skills for students towards employability. In addition to workshops, DSCs also provide an opportunity for students to apply their newly gained skills to develop solutions for local organizations and then provide visibility via showcases. DSC IIT Bhilai is one stop point for any software vertical at IIT Bhilai. The areas that we cover are Competitive Programming, Machine Learning, Cloud Development, Web Development and App Development. We have got a dedicated team of core members working for every area.

We conduct events to promote participation in open-source internship programs like GSoC, Outreachy, MLH etc. We also have our own open-sourced projects for IIT Bhilai students to contribute. We conduct hackathons, technical workshops, OWOC (OpenLake winter of code), and guest sessions by full-time open-source contributors (Yeah, you heard it right, people earn extremely good salaries from open-source contributions). We're proud to say that every year, starting from the first batch, IIT Bhilai students get selected for the most prestigious open-source programs like Google Summer of Code (GSoC).

About: The majority of new ventures involve significant data analysis. This data is being generated at an incredible rate. Over the last few years, hackathons and other data science competitions have increased. In this situation, we can't afford to fall behind. As a result, the DSAI Club was established at IIT Bhilai to accelerate the data science culture. This club's primary goal is to promote two fields: data science and artificial intelligence. The club will work on projects that will encourage more individuals to join the bandwagon of innovation. The club will also endeavor to develop a research group to solve problems, publish articles, and contribute to the student research culture at IIT Bhilai.

About: Blockchain technology is moving at a rapid pace. A lot of students of our institute are interested in learning blockchain technology, but due to lack of guidance, they end up giving up on learning blockchain and find some other interests. This society will prevent exactly this; we will be guiding students who are interested in learning blockchain, we will cover both, theoretical and practical aspects and make sure that they stand on their own feet. We will teach blockchain, work on blockchain-related projects, conduct hackathons, invite high profile speakers from the industry, and build good relationships with the leading blockchain companies.
